So, I’ve been off the radar for a while. I was in Toronto, got some ink, then I went to NYC for a while. I saw the Appleseed Cast with Chin Up Chin Up, great show. Now I’m in Syracuse. I just saw Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith. What did you think? Leave a comment. Let me know.

I was reading Boo’s new waste of time, dooce, which is a great site, check it out. From there I got linked to this other site Caulder.com. Not the greatest site, but I had to find out about those Puddin’ Portables!
Then I thought about this magazine I heard about on NPR almost a year ago. Possibly the best idea for a magazine I’d ever heard, Found, devoted to printing things that people find. Reading some of the entries, I was reminded of the Secrets website (see below, there are enough links in this post already). Just another rare opportunity to glimpse into someone elses life, like:

found NOT on Mario’s car.

So there was a recent comment asking where all of the interesting web sites come from…mine come from having too much time in front of a computer at work and too little interest in doing anything resembling work at said computer…and from having friends in similar bored/work situations taking full advantage of inter and intra-office email. That being said, add another to the list…this one is a blog from an ex-mormon/mother/dog owner/poop and boob enthusiast….prepare to be entertained and addicted to dooce (Check out the Feeling Guilty section).

Happy May Day everyone. I found a nice link to the history of May Day. Despite some spelling errors and a slight bias, it gives a good overview about a day left out of most US history books. Check it out.

If you are like me, you love to know other people’s dirty little secrets–apparently there are a lot of people who not only like to learn secrets, but who like to share them with total strangers. Isn’t the Internet wonderful?

Did you know that Axl Rose went to Lake Brantley High School? It’s true! Check out his sweet-ass alumni page here – GNR!
In other news, I’m heading across the border to our sarcastic, socialist brother to the north. If anyone needs some real beer or maple syrup, let me know. Unless of course, I defect, in which case, “See you losers, later!”

Recently Lamar has been behaving as a “girl gone wild” which is strange considering he is a male camel. He now has a diva complex and refuses to be in pictures. He thinks he’s artsy, so he takes the pictures. I see his career slowly beginning to mimick that of our beloved Spunko. Here’s a picture of his latest night out in downtown Orlando, FL at a place referred to as I-Bar.

The girls in the photo have asked to remain anonymous.
Forgive me if the picture doesn’t work I’m dumb with computers.

So, after being called upon weeks ago, I think I have finally figured out this whole posting thing. I may be a little slow, but at least I’m adorable. Been thinking about traveling lately, leaving town this week, going to where its hot, but also to where there is family, so its a trade off sometimes. I like to follow Spud’s Travels to get in the mood. That guy goes everywhere. Plus he has cute outfits…and someone to dress him and cart him around….a charmed life indeed. Pretty soon I’ll have a sunburn. I can’t wait.
Like a lizard to a heat rock,

So I indulged in another nutty brown substance today (see last post).
Chocolate!
I took a tour of the factory today. It was only three bucks and I got to hang out with a busload of senior citizens. One woman was saying, “Remember when Lucy and Ethel worked in the chocolate factory?” And I said, “What are you doing after the tour? Wanna go make a sticky mess?”
It was very informative and delicious. The guide said that most of the cocoa that we use for chocolate comes from Africa. So I called her a racist! They had these pipes all over the place that were flowing with liquid chocolate. And this one woman was dismembering a 35lb Easter Bunny. Good thing there were no children present. Just me and the ladies…All right.

B/C i’ve been called out, and you know a bgirl don’t play around wit dat, I guess I’ll post.
Everyone who missed Zombie day I’m sure has been crying the past couple of days, but nowhere near as much as me b/c the zombie I miss is Michael Jackson a la Thriller.
the american version is rubbish and bollocks all rolled around and pounded into a shite pizza. they ripped it off completely….only they left the humor, only thing they forgot! americans don’t get british humor for the most part so why does nbc do this to us who do!??!?!
in a final note…sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion.

So I’ve seen some new comments from some people and I think I have to comment. First off there have been some from Boo. Do you think she means “boo” or “boo-urns?” Because I was saying, “Boo-urns.”
And then there’s bgirl, who dastardly listed herself as anonymous first. So, if she’s who I think she is let me just say, “You were so right about ‘The Office’” I haven’t seen the new ‘Merican’ version yet. I’ll get back to you tomorrow.
But, you are both interesting people. You should write some posts. Monkeys are fun, but they get boring without some company.

Hey,
If you’re in the Orlando area and you want to hear something other than Backstreet Boys, not that you would…they’re awsome. But if you ever did, then check out “Watch me Disappear.” Here’s where you can hear them and find out where they are playing. By the way, ask them to play “Freebird.”
